Green Mountian Landscaping pulled down the old deck to make room for the new 1400 square foot patio. This job started with a design by the homeowner on a napkin. After taking the existing deck out, we used spray paint to design what he wanted, and tweaked it as we went. He wanted the patio to include a custom built in hot tub, a natural gas firepit, a built in grill and refrigerator and a bar area with granite top. Finished project pics coming soon!
The Town of Rocky Hill requested natural stone steps that were in keeping with the surrounding area of old foundations and steps still found at this historical site. Green Mountain Landscaping accomplished the goal to rave reviews from Town officials and the group of volunteers who were instrumental in renovating this park! See for yourself, take a hike through the park located off Old Forge Road.

Green Mountain Landscaping took out an old deteriorated and failed slate sidewalk to replace it with a new colorful and intricate one. The customer was hoping to achieve a Disney esque patio.
This customer wanted his existing patio expanded and a sitting wall installed. If you look closely in the first picture, you can see the red line of the proposed new patio. A grill enclosure was added to accommodate the customer's existing grill. The circle from the original patio was moved to be in a better place with the new sitting wall. Lights were added to the pillars at the ends of the walls after these photos were taken.
This customer wanted two patios put in. He wanted both patios to have a natural boulder wall. Pavers were used on one patio. The paver patio also integrated natural stone steps leading to an entry door. Green Mountain Landscaping installed natural slate on the second patio. The slate transitioned into pavers on the walkway that lead to the driveway. On the slate patio, Green Mountain Landscaping constructed a built in firepit from natural boulders to match the wall. A natural stone step was also installed to enter/exit from the sliding glass door.
A paver driveway with circle pattern was added to the previously completed sidewalk leading to the slate patio. New landscaping finished off the project at this waterfront location.
This customer wanted their cement sidewalk replaced with a natural stone walkway. The homeowner wanted large gaps and love the finsihed product!
This customer had drainage issues where their uphill neighbors water runoff would flow into their yard and flood it. To help with this problem, Green Mountain installed a new natural stone boulder wall with a hidden curtain drain behind it. This diverted the water away from their backyard.
This customer wanted his two already existing walls torn down and repaired. The walls were leaning and had several gaps. When we pulled the failing wall down on this job, we found no base was installed and a drainage system that was infiltrated with so much dirt it was virtually useless. The existing walls were built with no forethought about drainage. The location of the gutter downspout led the water directly to the wall which hastened its demise. Unfortunately, it cost this customer a lot more to have a bad job by another contractor re-done than it would have cost to do it right the first time.
This customer wanted to add a 800 square foot patio and sidewalk to the existing deck, for their family to enjoy more outside room. New curtain drainage pipes were also added to the normaly flooded back yard, which worked to keep it dry even after the heaviest of rains.
This customer wanted the old cement walkway ripped out and replaced with a paver walkway. The new curved walkway adds character to the area.
This sidewalk was falling apart, so the homeowener called Green Mountain Landscaping to fix it. We remade the base, cleaned the block and laid the existing pavers on the new and improved base.
